Miranda Talmage is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who earned her degree from the University of South Alabama. From 2018-2019 Miranda acted as the Nurse Practitioner trainee for the Pediatric Pulmonary Center at UAB where she learned invaluable leadership skills through interprofessional training, patient/family care and education, and research focused on pediatric pulmonary care.
Graduating from The University of North Alabama with her BSN, Miranda worked at UAB hospital, as well as, Children’s of Alabama before pursuing her career as a Nurse Practitioner. Having worked as an ICU nurse on the COVID Pandemic frontlines in New Jersey, she is excited to be back home to start this exciting journey with Smart Care Pediatrics and the Talladega community.
